Overview

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Part-Time Prepared Foods Production Team Member to join their deli and culinary prep team in Sullivans Island, South Carolina. This role emphasizes personal growth, community impact, and delivering excellent customer service while ensuring food quality, safety, and cleanliness standards are met.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with production for all Prepared Foods venues.
  • Ensure all prepared foods are properly labeled, dated, initialed, covered, and rotated.
  • Document waste and spoilage appropriately.
  • Follow recipes accurately and use correct measuring devices.
  • Provide friendly service and answer customer inquiries.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of walk-ins and freezers.
  • Maximize sales through effective food prep, storage, and merchandising.
  • Comply with health, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned.
  • Report safety hazards and violations immediately.
