Overview

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Part-Time Prepared Foods Production Team Member to join their team in North Charleston, South Carolina. This role involves preparation, counter service, sanitation, and stocking of products, all aimed at providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a positive company image. Team Members will engage with customers and contribute to the store's mission of nourishing people and the planet.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with production for all Prepared Foods venues
  • Ensure all prepared foods are properly labeled, dated, initialed, covered, and rotated
  • Ensure product meets Whole Foods Market guidelines for quality and preparation
  • Document waste and spoilage using appropriate forms
  • Help customers understand the difference between Whole Foods Market products and those at conventional stores
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of walk-ins and freezers
  • Arrive on time and prepared for work, attending required trainings and meetings
  • Provide excellent customer service and address customer needs in a timely manner
  • Maximize sales potential through effective procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising products
  • Comply with established procedures including health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned
