Overview

The Prepared Foods Production Team Member at Whole Foods Market plays a crucial role in food preparation, counter service, sanitation, and stocking products. This part-time position offers an opportunity to contribute to meaningful change while ensuring high standards of quality and customer service.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with production for all Prepared Foods venues
  • Ensure all prepared foods are properly labeled, dated, and rotated
  • Document waste and spoilage using appropriate forms
  • Help customers understand the difference between WFM products and conventional products
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of working areas
  • Provide excellent customer service and address customer needs promptly
  • Maximize sales potential through proper food prepping and merchandising
  • Follow established health and sanitation procedures
  • Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned
