Overview

The Prepared Foods Production Team Member at Whole Foods Market in Sedona, Arizona is responsible for various tasks related to food preparation, customer service, and maintaining sanitation standards. This role is integral to ensuring high-quality food is prepared and presented in accordance with company policies, while also promoting a positive customer experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with production for all Prepared Foods venues
  • Ensure all prepared foods are properly labeled, dated, initialed, covered, and rotated
  • Document waste and spoilage using appropriate forms
  • Help customers understand the difference between WFM products and products at conventional stores
  • Maximize sales potential through effective and proper procedures for prepping and stocking product
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary working environment
  • Provide excellent customer service and model suggestive selling techniques
  • Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned
  • Report safety hazards and violations immediately
