Overview

The Prepared Foods Production Associate at Whole Foods Market is responsible for food preparation and maintenance of various food bars. This role is integral to ensuring food quality and presentation while providing excellent customer service and adhering to health and safety regulations. Team members are expected to support the company's mission of nourishing people and the planet.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepares food items for the cold case, fresh pack, salad, and hot bars according to production sheets
  • Ensures prepared items are labeled, dated, covered, and monitored for quality
  • Monitors food levels and replenishes in a timely manner
  • Provides excellent customer service and addresses customer needs promptly
  • Follows established health, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Maintains a clean and sanitary working environment
  • Performs opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned
  • Reports safety hazards and violations
  • Performs other duties as assigned
