Overview

The Preop/PACU RN at OhioHealth will provide essential nursing care to patients in an outpatient surgery setting while collaborating with the healthcare team. The role demands accountability in nursing practice, including the delegation of tasks to other nursing staff and a commitment to safety and quality in patient care.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessments
  • Document planned nursing interventions to achieve patient outcomes
  • Evaluate and document responses to nursing interventions and revise care plans as needed
  • Participate in process improvement activities for clinical quality and customer satisfaction
  • Perform other duties as requested by supervisor

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Active RN license from State of Ohio
  • BLS Certification
  • Minimum 3 years of Preop, PACU, Critical Care, or ED RN experience
