Overview

The Power Delivery Program Manager at PacifiCorp will lead the development and execution of wildfire mitigation strategies across six states, ensuring alignment with company goals and regulatory requirements. The role involves managing cross-departmental initiatives, regulatory compliance, and promoting continuous improvement in wildfire mitigation efforts.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the development and delivery of Wildfire Mitigation Plans and regulatory filings.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure successful execution of Wildfire Mitigation Plans.
  • Compile datasets to create and file compliance reports per regulatory requirements.
  • Define scope and develop policies, processes, and training materials for wildfire mitigation programs.
  • Direct and oversee T&D wildfire mitigation programs ensuring compliance with governance.
  • Collect and evaluate data to improve program effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Develop and present business proposals to executive leadership for funding.
  • Leverage technology to manage and implement wildfire mitigation pilot projects.
  • Interface with stakeholders and regulators to solicit feedback and communicate progress.
  • Provide expertise in responding to inquiries regarding wildfire mitigation programs.
  • Implement an ongoing communication strategy for wildfire mitigation programs.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of seven years of utility or equivalent experience in engineering, operations, finance, or program management
  • Indirect management skills for developing and executing policies
  • Leadership and teamwork skills to negotiate with peers and senior officers
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of wildfire mitigation strategies and regulatory environment
  • Technical writing skills for proposals and policy creation
  • Advanced Degree or P.E. License preferred
  • PMP certification is a plus
