Overview

The Power Control and Information Systems (PC&IS) Engineering Manager at Procter & Gamble will lead the integration of innovative technologies in the Alexandria plant. This role focuses on driving operational excellence, reducing losses, and managing product lifecycles through advanced manufacturing processes.

Key responsibilities

  • Champion and implement innovation strategies within the manufacturing facility.
  • Manage and safeguard intellectual property rights related to manufacturing processes.
  • Drive Lean Innovation methodologies to optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Lead Loss Elimination efforts across operational areas.
  • Oversee design and maintenance of advanced Machine Controls systems.
  • Direct application of Manufacturing Applied Informatics for data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with Plant Engineering for technology integration and infrastructure improvement.
  • Oversee Validation processes for new equipment, processes, and products.

Required skills

  • BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or relevant field
  • 3+ years of experience in PC&IS technologies
  • Strong technical mastery in Continuous Process Control and related systems
  • Experience in Innovation management within manufacturing
  • Knowledge of Intellectual Property principles
  • Expertise in Lean Innovation and Loss Elimination
  • In-depth knowledge of Machine Controls and Manufacturing Applied Informatics
  • Background in Plant Engineering and Process Control
  • Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
