Our client, a leading organization in electrical and mechanical product servicing, is seeking a Power Breaker Refurbishment Technician to join their team. As a Power Breaker Refurbishment Technician, you will be part of the Power Breaker Refurbishment Center supporting the service and repair of electrical products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Power Breaker Refurbishment Technician Location: Kitchener, ON Pay Range: $25/hr Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm What's the Job? Perform quality assembly and testing of electrical products serviced by the center of excellence. Assemble electrical components, including low and medium voltage circuit breakers. Support aftermarket products and perform transactions using proprietary software systems. Visually inspect components and assemblies for electrical and mechanical defects. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics for assembly and troubleshooting. What's Needed? Minimum 2-year diploma or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Technology from an accredited institution. At least 1 year of experience in mechanical or electrical technology. Must reside within 80 km of Kitchener, ON, and be authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship. Ability to read complex blueprints, schematics, and technical materials.
