This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in a dynamic retail location.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $18.50 / HourJob Schedule:DayTime Wed 06:30 PM - 11:30 PMThur 06:30 PM - 11:30 PMWhat You'll Do:Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sitesSupport operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and educationReceive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teamsDeliver consistent, professional security presence and customer serviceBe ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs ariseResponsibilities:Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns within the retail environment.Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site procedures.Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members.Document incidents and complete required reports in a timely and accurate manner.What We're Looking For:Availability across various days and shiftsReliability and ability to adapt to different post assignmentsA desire to gain broad experience and grow within the companyInterest in transitioning into full-time roles when availableMinimum Requirements:A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.Maryland Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations
