Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and providing excellent customer service and communication. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry and responsibly handle authorized equipment. You will contribute to a positive environment by working collaboratively with others and upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism. If driving is required, a valid driver's license in the job state is necessary.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $21.75 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeMon 06:15 AM - 04:15 PMTue 06:15 AM - 04:15 PMWed 06:15 AM - 04:15 PMThur 06:15 AM - 04:15 PMResponsibilities:Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any unusual circumstances.Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide assistance to staff and visitors as needed.Document and report any incidents or suspicious activities according to established protocols.Collaborate with local authorities and emergency services when required.Minimum Requirements:Possess a valid Florida Armed Security Professional License.Possess an Armed Designation as required by the post.Possess a valid driver's license in the state where the job is located.Possess training and authorization to carry and use handcuffs as required by the post.Possess training and authorization to carry and use pepper spray as required by the post.Possess training and authorization to carry and use a sidearm as required by the post.Possess training and authorization to carry and use a Taser as required by the post.Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or possess an equivalent qualification.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.Perks and Benefits:Health insurance and 401k plans for full-time positionsSchedules that fit with your personal life goalsOngoing paid training programs and career growth opportunitiesEmployee discounts through our perks program to your favorite restaurants, entertainment venues, and much more Allied Univ
