This role pays $27.68 per hour and follows a consistent weekly schedule.Requirements:Must hold an active Secret ClearancePrior military, law enforcement, or at least one year of armed security experience requiredThis is an excellent opportunity for skilled professionals ready to serve and protect in a mission-critical environment.Responsibilities:Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and informationConduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified informationPreserve order and enforces rules, regulations, and directives for the viability of the siteGreet guests and employees, assisting where appropriate; escort visitors and contractors, secure ingress and egress points, secure classified informationFollow site-specific performance manuals and post orders, reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and verbal communication; interact with client and/or other security personnel regarding order execution when appropriateRespond to and assesses security alarms or emergency alarms; act as a first responder in emergency situations and provide first aid as necessaryQualifications (Must Have):Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experienceMust be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance (national security eligibility determinations take into account a person's stability, trustworthiness, reliability, discretion, character, honesty, and judgment)Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employmentMust have a minimum of three (3) years of law enforcement, military, or private armed security experienceMinimum of 21 years of age (or higher if required by the state)Must be a United States Citizen in order to obtain the required government clearanceMust be able to articulate and write clear and concise incident or situation reportsPreferred Qualifications (Nice To Have):Associate's degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Business, or a related fieldBenefits:Health insurance and 401k plans for full-time positionsSchedules that fit with your personal life goalsOngoing paid training programs and career growth opportunitiesEmployee discounts through our perks program to your favorite restaurants, entertainment venues, and much moreClosingAllied Universal is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
