Overview

The Post-Closing/Recording Specialist at Essent Guaranty, Inc. will support the housing finance industry by reviewing executed loan documents for accuracy and ensuring all recording documents meet lender requirements. This on-site role in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania requires attention to detail and effective management of daily workloads.

Key responsibilities

  • Review executed recording documents for accuracy of signatures and legal descriptions
  • Verify compliance with lender instructions and county signing requirements
  • Submit recordable documents via e-record or mailing
  • Scan loan packages and prepare certified true recordables
  • Ship loan documents to lenders and borrowers
  • Maintain organized file cabinets
  • Resolve recording issues and escalations with the Team Lead
  • Balance files in RamQuest and manage recording refunds
  • Follow workflow for submitting documents and completing required events

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in title insurance industry or financial services preferred
  • Familiarity with RamQuest closing operations system
  • Ability to read and interpret legal and financial documents
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage daily workloads
