Overview

POSITION DESCRIPTION FOP CONSULTANTS is looking for Portfolio Managers motivated to deliver on mandates. The main assignments would be to build and maintain the portfolio of projects and programs, prioritize initiatives according to strategic value and organizational capacity; optimize the allocation of resources and budgets, track consolidated performance, and support investment decisions through rigorous reporting. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Build and maintain the organization's portfolio of projects and programs. Prioritize and arbitrate initiatives according to value, capacity and strategic direction. Allocate and optimize resources and budget envelopes across initiatives. Track consolidated portfolio performance: progress, costs, risks and benefits. Lead governance bodies and support investment decisions. Produce dashboards and reporting for senior management. Ensure methodologies are applied and contribute to portfolio management maturity. CANDIDATE PROFILE University degree in computer science, management or any related discipline. Minimum fifteen (15) years of experience in information technology. Minimum five (05) years of experience as a Portfolio Manager. Experience with one of the following frameworks: Scrum, Kanban, Lean, DSDM, SAFe, Nexus. Experience with one of the following tools: Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence. Hold one of the following certifications: PfMP, MoP, SAFe LPM, PMP. Hold one of the following Agile certifications (an asset): CSM, PSM I, PSM II, A-CSM, SAFe Scrum Master etc. Experience delivering a strategic mandate (an asset). Experience in large Canadian public or private organizations.
