Overview

The Secret Service is seeking a Police Officer to perform crucial protective duties primarily in Washington, D.C. This role involves safeguarding significant locations and individuals, as well as fulfilling specific investigative responsibilities. Candidates may be eligible for a substantial recruitment incentive of $75,000.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide protection for The White House Complex, The Vice President's Residence, and other government buildings
  • Travel in support of Presidential and foreign dignitary missions
  • Enforce protective responsibilities as mandated by federal law

Required skills

  • U.S. citizenship
  • Current valid U.S. driver's license
  • Ability to carry and use a firearm
  • Maintaining firearm proficiency
  • Visual acuity of 20/100 uncorrected and 20/20 corrected
