Overview

The Police Officer position at The United States Secret Service requires relocation to Washington, DC. The role involves providing protection for key government locations and officials, including the White House and foreign diplomatic missions. Candidates may be eligible for a recruitment incentive of $75,000.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide protection for The White House Complex, The Vice President's Residence, and diplomatic missions in Washington, D.C.
  • Travel in support of the Presidential, Vice Presidential, and foreign heads of state missions.
  • Enforce mandated protective responsibilities under Title 18, U.S. Code, Section 3056A.

Required skills

  • U.S. citizenship

  • Proficiency in carrying and using a firearm
