Overview

The Secret Service is seeking a Police Officer to join their team in West Warwick, Rhode Island, with a required relocation to Washington, DC. This role involves providing protection for key locations and individuals, enforcing protective responsibilities, and participating in law enforcement missions.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide protection for The White House Complex, The Vice President's Residence, and other significant locations
  • Travel in support of presidential and foreign dignitary missions
  • Enforce protective responsibilities as mandated by law

Required skills

  • U.S. citizenship
  • Valid U.S. driver's license
  • Age between 21 and 40 at the time of application
  • Firearm proficiency and ability to carry a firearm
  • Visual acuity as specified
  • Hearing requirements as specified
  • Complete 12 weeks of training at FLETC and 17 weeks at the training center
