Job Description

Overview

The United States Secret Service is seeking a Police Officer to perform protective duties in Washington, DC. This role includes providing security for important government locations and officials, as well as engaging in essential law enforcement activities.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide protection for The White House Complex and other key government buildings
  • Travel in support of Presidential, Vice Presidential, and foreign dignitaries
  • Enforce mandated protective responsibilities as per Title 18, United States Code

Required skills

  • U.S. citizenship
  • Valid U.S. driver's license
  • Age between 21 and 40
  • Firearm proficiency
  • Visual acuity requirements
  • Ability to pass a drug test
  • Complete intensive law enforcement training
