The Police Officer (Secret Service Police) position requires relocation to Washington, DC and includes a $75,000 recruitment incentive. Candidates will be part of a diverse team responsible for both investigative missions and protective duties.
Key responsibilities
Provide protection for The White House Complex, The Vice President's Residence, and foreign diplomatic missions in Washington, D.C.
Travel in support of Presidential, Vice Presidential, and foreign heads of state missions.
Enforce mandated protective responsibilities under Title 18, United States Code.
Required skills
U.S. citizenship
Valid U.S. driver's license
Age between 21 and 40 (with exceptions)
Firearm proficiency
Visual acuity of 20/100 uncorrected and 20/20 corrected
Hearing capability without the use of hearing aids
Ability to pass a drug test
Completion of training at Federal Law Enforcement Training Center and specialized training
