Overview

As a Police Officer PRN (Off Duty) at Methodist Health System, you will play a crucial role in maintaining safety and security within the healthcare environment. This position involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to perform patrol and investigative procedures while ensuring compliance with laws and healthcare policies.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform all patrol and police investigative procedures

  • Testify in court to present case facts as necessary

Required skills

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Associates Degree in Criminal Justice or related field preferred
  • Texas Peace Officer License in good standing with TCOLE
  • Two or more years of progressive law enforcement experience
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to make independent decisions and sound judgments
  • Valid Texas Class C Driver License and insurability
