Overview

As a Police Officer PRN (Off Duty) at Methodist Health System, you will play a crucial role in ensuring safety and compliance with laws and regulations while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Key responsibilities

  • Perform patrol and police investigative procedures
  • Enforce Federal, State, and Local Laws as well as Methodist Health System Policies
  • Communicate clearly and build relationships to promote collaboration
  • Accountable for performance and seek to improve patient experience
  • Make independent decisions and testify in court when necessary

Required skills

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Associates Degree in Criminal Justice or related field preferred
  • Texas Peace Officer License in good standing
  • Valid Texas Class C Driver License
  • Two or more years of progressive experience as a law enforcement Officer
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to deal tactfully and diplomatically with staff and the public
  • Sound judgment and decision-making abilities
