Job Description

Overview

As a Police Officer PRN at Methodist Health System, you will be responsible for collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to conduct patrol and investigative procedures while enforcing laws and the organization's policies. This role requires a Texas Peace Officer License and a commitment to maintaining high standards in law enforcement.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform patrol and police investigative procedures
  • Enforce Federal, State, and Local Laws as well as organizational policies

Required skills

  • Texas Peace Officer License
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Associates Degree in Criminal Justice or related field (preferred)
  • Valid Texas Class C Driver License
  • Two or more years of progressive experience as a law enforcement officer
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle public interactions tactfully and diplomatically
  • Critical thinking and tactical decision-making skills
