The Point of Sale Lead at Giant Eagle is a crucial role that focuses on ensuring registers are efficient to provide excellent service to guests. This position requires strong leadership skills and a commitment to team success, with an emphasis on coaching and technical support.

Key responsibilities

  • Enable unparalleled guest service by leading the team by example.
  • Understand guest service initiatives and measurement tools.
  • Respond to guest calls regarding product inquiries and requests.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to Team Members.
  • Oversee and evaluate training for Team Members.
  • Conduct daily team huddles.
  • Manage department orders and supervise stocking and receiving.
  • Build the store's product assortment actively.
  • Execute all sign package responsibilities and price changes.
  • Comply with self-assessments and pass audits.
  • Utilize tools to reduce and eliminate shrink.
  • Ensure safety for Team Members, guests, and products.
  • Promote a diverse and inclusive environment.
