Join Tri City as a Plumbing Service Technician, where you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems for our clients. Your expertise will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service and ensuring customer satisfaction in a dynamic work environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Diagnose plumbing issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements
  • Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and water heaters
  • Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential problems
  • Interpret blueprints and building codes to determine optimal plumbing layouts
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining plumbing issues and solutions to clients
  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations during installation and repair processes
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including time, materials, and costs
  • Respond promptly to emergency plumbing calls to minimize damage and resolve issues efficiently
  • Recommend and implement energy-efficient plumbing solutions and upgrades
  • Collaborate with team members and other professionals on large-scale projects
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest plumbing tools, technologies, and industry best practices
  • Manage inventory of plumbing supplies and equipment
  • Train and mentor junior plumbing staff
  • Prepare cost estimates for clients and provide clear, detailed invoices
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prolong the lifespan of plumbing systems

Required skills

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid plumbing license or certification
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in plumbing repair and installation
  • Proficient in using plumbing tools and equipment
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy equipment
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Basic computer skills for logging service reports and accessing job details
