Overview

PF Plumbing is seeking a Plumbing Service Manager in Winston-Salem, NC to oversee daily operations in their service department. This leadership role will focus on driving performance, ensuring customer satisfaction, and developing a skilled plumbing team.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee daily operations of the plumbing service department
  • Manage, coach, and develop plumbing technicians and support staff
  • Oversee inventory control, purchasing, and warehouse operations
  • Coordinate scheduling and dispatch with the Call Center Manager
  • Drive performance metrics including revenue per tech and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with plumbing codes and safety standards
  • Monitor inventory and fleet readiness
  • Oversee budgeting and financial performance
  • Resolve escalated customer concerns promptly
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales to grow service demand
  • Implement training programs and performance improvement plans
  • Track KPIs and analyze service metrics

Required skills

  • 10+ years plumbing experience
  • 5+ years in a supervisory or management role
  • Valid plumbing license (utility license preferred)
  • Knowledge of plumbing codes and safety regulations
  • Experience managing budgets and departmental P&L
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • Nexstar experience (highly preferred)
  • HVAC experience (preferred but not required)
