Overview

Marriott International, Inc is seeking a Full-Time Plumber to join their team in Toronto, Ontario. The role involves responding to guest repair requests, performing preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting equipment in both commercial and residential systems.

Key responsibilities

  • Respond to and attend to guest repair requests
  • Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment
  • Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
  • Identify and operate shut-off valves and utility shut-offs
  • Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts as needed
  • Communicate daily activities and problems to other shifts
  • Execute repairs on plumbing, electrical components, and guestroom items
  • Perform surface preparation, painting, and light repairs
  • Follow company and safety policies
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members

Required skills

  • Ontario Plumber Certification (306A) or Red Seal
  • Blueprint reading
  • Troubleshooting skills
