Overview

The Plant Supervisor-Electrical Maintenance at PacifiCorp will oversee maintenance activities at the Castle Dale power plant, ensuring safety and operational efficiency. This role involves managing a team, implementing business objectives, and maintaining cooperative relationships across departments to ensure the plant operates smoothly and safely.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan and manage the work of the functional group
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment
  • Oversee daily maintenance activities in the plant
  • Implement business objectives, strategies, and plans
  • Establish, monitor, and control costs
  • Perform project management responsibilities on unit outages and major overhauls
  • Prepare Scope of Work documents for contractor work
  • Lead the functional team and provide guidance
  • Provide input into team employee performance reviews

Required skills

  • Journeyman electrician level experience or applicable bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of five years of electrical maintenance experience
  • Ability to respond to after-hour emergencies
  • Proficient in computer applications for communication and project scheduling
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Leadership and teamwork skills
  • Decision-making abilities
  • Basic computer skills including email and word processing
  • Familiarity with maintenance management systems and preventative maintenance systems
  • Technical knowledge for electrical maintenance in power generation
