Overview

The H&K Group is seeking a Plant Operator for River Asphalt, LLC in Dagsboro, Delaware. This full-time position requires an organized and self-motivated individual with experience in plant operation and maintenance to ensure efficient production processes and adherence to safety protocols.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform all work according to MSHA and H&K Safety policies
  • Know and follow company start and stop procedures
  • Perform daily greasing and oil checks on crushers and screens
  • Keep walkways clear of debris and report spillage issues
  • Conduct daily guarding inspections and plant checks
  • Inspect screen media for maximum production efficiency
  • Maintain cleanliness of the operating booth
  • Suggest improvements in working conditions and equipment use
  • Assist workers in resolving production problems when needed
  • Complete daily paperwork and other assigned duties
