Overview

Cargill is seeking a Plant Mechanic to join their protein and salt business in Jetmore, Kansas. This role involves maintaining and troubleshooting industrial machinery to ensure safe and efficient operations within the facility.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform repetitive or non-routine tasks
  • Operate heavy machinery including forklifts
  • Use a variety of tools and retrieve parts
  • Conduct daily set-up of work area
  • Troubleshoot and maintain machinery and power sources
  • Ensure safety, food safety, and quality standards are met
  • Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping
  • Support various teams, including HAZMAT
