Overview

The Plant Maintenance Technician at Hollandia Dairy is responsible for maintaining various types of fluid packaging machinery and related auxiliary equipment in a food plant environment. This role requires handling chemicals, performing fabrication tasks, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain fluid packaging machinery and auxiliary equipment
  • Handle chemicals for equipment operation and conduct chemical testing
  • Fabricate and manufacture equipment for production needs
  • Follow safety programs and quality practices
  • Learn welding and use provided tools
  • Attend regularly and work overtime as necessary
  • Complete other assigned duties

Required skills

  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Experience in engineering and mechanical maintenance
  • Welding skills (or willingness to learn)
