Overview

The Plant Controller at Jabil Circuit, Inc. will oversee the accounting functions of the Prince George, Virginia facility. This role involves directing accounting practices, preparing financial reports, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements while supporting overall financial health and efficiency of the plant.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage internal and external accounting duties
  • Direct accounting functions and establish accounting principles
  • Prepare financial reports and present findings to leadership
  • Maximize financial asset returns by establishing controls and reporting systems
  • Conduct or arrange audits to manage financial risks
  • Prepare and manage budgets and analyze variances
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP and legal requirements
  • Oversee information technology applications for financial reporting
  • Train and develop subordinate staff
  • Support safety and quality programs
