Overview

Amazon is seeking PIT Trainers to join the operations team at IAG1 in Niagara Falls. This role focuses on training new employees in fulfillment center operations, ensuring safety, inventory accuracy, and motivating team members while performing production duties as needed.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute a best-in-class new hire experience
  • Engage and excite newly hired employees in a supportive environment
  • Drive operational mechanisms for exceptional onboarding
  • Facilitate transition from onboarding to in-path training
  • Analyze and interpret metrics for continuous improvement
  • React quickly to resolve barriers and challenges
  • Drive effective teamwork and communication across teams
  • Support a 24/7 environment with flexible shifts and staffing

Required skills

  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to lift up to 49 pounds
  • Experience standing/walking for shifts lasting up to 12 hours
  • Ability to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays
