Overview

The Middlesex Corporation is seeking a Pipefitter based in Kittery, Maine. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various piping systems in the heavy civil construction industry. The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and high-quality work in accordance with the company's core values.

Key responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain piping systems for heating and cooling, oil and chemicals, natural gas, and more.
  • Comply with all safety policies and procedures.
  • Read blueprints and set specifications as needed.
  • Cut, weld, and fit pipes for drainage, sewer, and water.
  • Plan sequence of installation to avoid obstructions.
  • Perform incidental work items of other crafts.

Required skills

  • 2-5 years in Heavy Civil Construction
  • Proven experience as a Pipefitter
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal skills
