Overview

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Colorectal Surgeon to join the CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic at CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas. This position offers a full-time opportunity in a large healthcare network committed to delivering high-quality patient care, with the support of advanced surgical technologies and a collaborative team environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide specialized surgical care for colorectal cancer, diverticulitis, IBD, and anorectal disorders
  • Utilize advanced minimally invasive and robotic-assisted techniques (da Vinci 5)
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic colonoscopies
  • Collaborate within a physician-led dyad leadership model to drive clinical excellence
  • Participate in a specialized colorectal call rotation (no general surgery call required)

Required skills

  • MD or DO from an accredited program
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Colon and Rectal Surgery
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery
  • Eligibility for an unrestricted Texas Medical License
