Overview

Britt Medical Search is seeking a BC/BE Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join a well-established group in northwest Idaho. This full-time position involves covering trauma services with a dedicated OR room and participating in an equal weekend call rotation.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide orthopedic trauma care as part of a surgical team
  • Participate in day service Monday through Friday
  • Average 6 night call shifts per month
  • Contribute to a joint operating committee between orthopedic physicians and hospital administration
  • Align goals, policies, and procedures with the hospital administration

Required skills

  • Board Certification or Eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Experience with ASC Level 2 trauma cases
  • Surgical skills in orthopedic procedures
  • Collaboration skills for working in a team environment
  • Patient care experience
  • Knowledge in emergency medicine
