Overview

Britt Medical Search is seeking a BE/BC Sports Medicine Orthopedic Surgeon to join a hospital-employed practice in Portsmouth, Ohio. The ideal candidate will be fellowship-trained in sports medicine with expertise in shoulder and knee arthroscopy and an interest in expanding services to elbow and hip arthroscopy, contributing to a high-demand sports medicine program supported by a strong referral network.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform advanced procedures including shoulder and knee arthroscopy, complex ligament reconstruction, and meniscal debridement
  • Lead and grow the sports medicine service line
  • Manage community trauma cases and perform joint replacement surgeries
  • Conduct outpatient pediatric sports procedures
  • Collaborate with clinical staff and provide care to 25-40 patients per day

Required skills
