Overview

Adelphi Staffing, LLC is seeking a Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon for a locum tenens position in St. Louis, Missouri. The role involves providing 24-hour call coverage for pediatric emergency department and inpatient consults over specified periods, utilizing Epic EMR for documentation and patient management.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide 24-hour call coverage for pediatric emergency department and inpatient consults
  • Round on existing inpatient pediatric orthopedic patients
  • Respond to call within 30 minutes
  • Cover a maximum of 2 shifts per month and up to 10 shifts per year
  • Utilize Epic EMR for all documentation and patient management

Required skills

  • BC/BE Board Certification
  • MO or IMLC license
  • BLS, ATLS, PALS certifications
  • Experience with pediatric orthopedic procedures including arthroscopy and hand tendon release/repair
