Overview

Vivo HealthStaff is seeking a Board Certified Neurosurgeon to join a surgical team at a 650-bed acute care hospital and Level II Trauma Center in Saginaw, Michigan. The role involves performing a full range of cranial and spinal neurosurgical procedures while collaborating with various specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform cranial and spinal neurosurgical procedures
  • Collaborate with neurologists, neurointerventional radiologists, and other specialists
  • Interpret advanced diagnostic imaging (MRI, CT, angiograms)
  • Provide consultations, assessments, and follow-up care in inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Participate in teaching and mentoring of medical students, residents, and fellows
  • Deliver patient-centered care with professionalism and high surgical standards

Required skills

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery
  • Active DEA
  • Active or Eligible Michigan Medical License
  • Experience in trauma care
  • Ability to interpret diagnostic imaging
