Overview

Vohra Wound Physicians is seeking a Full-Time Bariatric Surgeon in Madison, Wisconsin. This role offers clinical satisfaction with autonomy and flexibility, focusing on modern wound management in post-acute care settings without the burden of nights, call, or weekend responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide bedside wound care in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals
  • Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility
  • Manage a patient load of approximately 20-30 patients per day
  • Document clinical notes in real-time using proprietary wound-specific EMR
  • Participate in a 6-month wound care fellowship for advanced training

Required skills

  • Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the practicing state
  • Experience in bariatric surgery and wound care management
  • Ability to work a minimum of 3 weekdays per week
  • Familiarity with clinical documentation and patient care
