Overview

Vohra Wound Physicians is seeking a full-time Bariatric Surgeon in Charlotte, NC, who will join a national team focusing on wound management. The role offers a high degree of clinical satisfaction with no nights, call, or weekend responsibilities, providing a strong work-life balance and the chance to become an expert in wound care through hands-on experience and training.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver bedside wound care in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals
  • Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility
  • Document clinical information in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR
  • Participate in training and development programs, including a 6-month wound care fellowship
  • Visit 2-3 facilities per day treating approximately 20-30 patients

Required skills

  • Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state of practice
  • Experience in bariatric surgery and wound management
  • Familiarity with healthcare compliance and medical documentation
  • Knowledge of clinical technologies
