Overview

Vohra Wound Physicians is seeking a full-time Bariatric Surgeon for a mobile practice in Columbus, GA. The position offers clinical satisfaction with no nights, weekends, or call responsibilities, allowing for a work-life balance while providing modern wound management at the bedside in various facilities.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver bedside wound care in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals
  • Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility
  • Treat approximately 20-30 patients per day
  • Utilize proprietary wound specific EMR for clinical documentation in real-time
  • Participate in paid training and a 6-month wound care fellowship

Required skills

  • Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO)
  • Experience in wound care and management
  • Ability to work a minimum of 3 weekdays per week
  • Clinical training in healthcare compliance and patient management
  • Team collaboration skills in a mobile practice
