Overview

Vohra Wound Physicians is seeking a part-time Bariatric Surgeon for a position in Dothan, Alabama. The role offers the opportunity to develop expertise in wound management while enjoying a flexible work schedule with no nights, calls, or weekend responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver modern wound management at the bedside in post-acute care settings
  • Conduct weekly wound rounds at skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals
  • Utilize a proprietary wound-specific EMR for real-time clinical documentation
  • Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients
  • Participate in a 6-month wound care fellowship and paid training during onboarding

Required skills

  • Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the practice state
  • Experience in bariatric surgery and wound care
  • Patient management skills
