The role involves working within an experienced team and includes a call schedule of 1:3, with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) taking the first call. The position requires expertise in a range of surgical and structural procedures, with a preference for skills in off pump techniques and minimally invasive surgery.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform a full spectrum of adult cardiac surgery
  • Participate in surgical and structural procedures
  • Manage patient care in a surgical setting
  • Provide first call support alongside APPs

Required skills

  • MD or DO certification
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery
  • Experience in minimally invasive techniques
  • Clinical expertise in surgical procedures
  • Ability to obtain Pennsylvania licensure
