Britt Medical Search is seeking a dynamic Board Eligible/Board Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon to support the growth of an Integrated Cardiovascular Service Line in Tallahassee, Florida. This role emphasizes clinical responsibilities in adult cardiac, thoracic, and minimally invasive robotic surgery while also providing academic leadership and contributing to the education of medical students and residents.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as a Clinical Professor at Florida State University College of Medicine, delivering lectures and mentorship.
  • Develop and update educational content related to cardiothoracic surgery.
  • Lead and participate in clinical research projects to advance cardiothoracic surgery techniques.
  • Publish research findings and present at conferences.
  • Secure external research funding and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
