Overview

Britt Medical Search is seeking a dynamic Board Eligible/Board Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join their growing Integrated Cardiovascular Service Line in Tallahassee, Florida. The role includes clinical responsibilities for adult cardiac, thoracic, and minimally invasive robotic surgeries, as well as academic obligations through the Florida State University College of Medicine.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as a Clinical Professor at Florida State University College of Medicine
  • Deliver lectures, clinical instruction, and mentorship to medical students, residents, and fellows
  • Develop and update educational content and curricula related to cardiothoracic surgery
  • Lead and participate in clinical research projects aimed at advancing cardiothoracic surgery techniques
  • Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at national and international conferences
  • Secure external research funding and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
