Job Description

Overview

Britt Medical Search is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Sports Medicine Physician to join a multidisciplinary team in Fergus Falls, Minnesota. This full-time position focuses on non-operative care, providing the opportunity to work within an established orthopedics practice dedicated to helping active individuals achieve optimal performance and recovery.

Key responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage musculoskeletal injuries and sports-related conditions
  • Develop individualized, non-surgical treatment plans including physical therapy, bracing, and injections
  • Perform ultrasound-guided procedures such as corticosteroids and PRP
  • Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, athletic trainers, and primary care providers
  • Provide sideline coverage and support for local athletic events (optional)
  • Educate patients on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance optimization

Required skills

  • BC/BE in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Pediatrics
  • Fellowship training in Sports Medicine (ABMS-recognized)
  • Experience with ultrasound-guided procedures preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
