Overview

VieMed Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated Psychologist to join their team in Eloy, AZ. This role is essential for providing mental health services to diverse populations, delivering psychological assessments, therapy, and program management to improve patient well-being.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide direct mental health services, including individual and group psychotherapy
  • Develop, monitor, and adjust patient treatment plans with multidisciplinary teams
  • Conduct assessments for mental health and substance use disorders
  • Utilize therapeutic modalities such as psychoeducation and behavioral analysis
  • Coordinate care with medical and mental health professionals
  • Participate in training, education, and consultation activities
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide telehealth services
  • Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records

Required skills

  • Doctoral Degree in Psychology from an APA-accredited program
  • Current, unrestricted license to practice psychology in Arizona
  • Minimum of one year of clinical practice at the independent level
  • Proficiency in psychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary, multicultural environment
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and privacy regulations
  • Ability to adapt to flexible scheduling and respond promptly to emergencies
  • Valid BLS for Healthcare Providers certification
