Overview

Britt Medical Search is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist for an outpatient practice located just south of Madison, WI. This role features a collaborative team model and a low call requirement, making it an excellent opportunity for those interested in a balanced lifestyle and patient care.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient psychiatric care to patients
  • Participate in a collaborative team environment with therapists, social workers, and counselors
  • Maintain a patient load of around 10 patients per day
  • Participate in a light call rotation of 1:3
  • Engage with geriatric patients if interested

Required skills

  • BC/BE in Psychiatry
  • Experience in outpatient mental health care
  • Knowledge of therapeutic techniques
  • Understanding of health insurance systems
  • Interest in geriatric psychiatry is a plus
