Overview

WhiteCoat Locums is seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist for a locum assignment in Longview, Washington, starting August 2026. This opportunity is due to a coverage gap in a behavioral health program and involves both inpatient and outpatient settings with a typical schedule from Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and manage medication for patients
  • Perform inpatient rounding and admissions
  • Provide outpatient behavioral health care
  • Fulfill court-related responsibilities as needed
  • Work independently with an average patient volume of 12-14 per day

Required skills

  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified in Psychiatry
  • Active Washington license required
  • BLS certification
  • Minimum 2 years of experience
  • Epic experience
  • Case log of 100 psychiatric patient encounters within the last 24 months
