Overview

Britt Medical Search is seeking a full-time BE/BC Adult Psychiatrist for a new practice southwest of Tyler, Texas. This position involves joining a team dedicated to delivering care in a hybrid long-term forensic program aimed at the rehabilitation of non-violent offenders.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver care in a new hybrid long-term forensic program for non-violent offenders
  • Manage initial acute care for program participants
  • Support rehabilitation and recovery efforts for the program population
  • Work collaboratively with a dedicated team to achieve long-term clinical and rehabilitative outcomes
  • Option to establish an outpatient clinic

Required skills

  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Psychiatry
  • Experience in patient care within behavioral health
  • Knowledge of forensic psychiatry and rehabilitation practices
