Job Description

Overview

Britt Medical Search is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Psychiatrist to join a hospital-employed team in Portsmouth, Ohio. The role involves managing a clinical case load of 12-16 patients per day and participating in psychiatric grand rounds. The position includes a comprehensive benefits package and a supportive working environment in a culturally rich community.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide psychiatric care and manage clinical cases
  • Participate in psychiatric grand rounds
  • Conduct clinical case reviews
  • Work Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM
  • Share on-call duties on a 1:5 rotation

Required skills

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry
  • Experience in healthcare management and patient care
  • Knowledge of mental health and clinical psychology practices
  • Ability to engage in community outreach
